Terms

Last updated 16 September 2026

Design Minis is free to use and asks nothing of you. These are the terms that come with that, in plain words.

What this is

A directory of design tools made by other people, and a small set of tools made here. Using the site means accepting what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use it.

The tools made here

They are free, need no account, and run inside your browser. They are offered as they are, without any warranty: they may have faults, they may change, and they may stop working in a browser that changes under them. Do not rely on one for something you cannot afford to redo.

Your pictures stay yours. They are never uploaded, and nothing you make with these tools is claimed here — the files you export are yours to use however you like, including commercially.

What you put into them is your responsibility. A logo, a photograph or a typeface usually belongs to somebody, and tracing or cutting one out does not change that. Only use material you own or are allowed to use.

Listings and links

Tools listed here belong to their makers, who set their own terms, prices and privacy policies. A listing is not an endorsement, a guarantee, or any kind of partnership, and what happens on someone else’s site is between you and them. Listings can be edited or removed at any time, and being listed carries no promise that it will stay.

Submitting a tool

By submitting one you confirm you have the right to send what you send, including any screenshot. You allow it to be shown here — the name, description, link, screenshot and your name as its maker — and you accept that it may be edited for length or clarity, declined, or removed later. If you want a listing taken down, ask and it will be.

Sponsorship

The sponsor slot is arranged by email and accepted at my discretion. Nothing is bought on this site and no payment details are handled here. Terms for a slot are agreed in writing with the sponsor.

Fair use of the site

Please do not scrape the directory wholesale, hammer it with automated requests, try to break into any part of it, or use anything here to do something illegal. Copying the directory to republish it as your own is not on either.

What belongs to whom

The site design, its text, and the code of the tools made here belong to me — apart from the open-source parts they are built on, which keep their own licences. Those notices are shipped alongside the code they belong to.

The sample images inside the tools were made for them. The photograph on Cutout’s card is a public domain (CC0) picture from Wikimedia Commons. Screenshots of listed tools belong to the people who made those tools.

Every tool in the directory belongs to whoever made it, and the names and logos are theirs. If something of yours is here and you would rather it was not, say so and it will go.

Liability

The site and its tools are provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss or damage arising from using them — including lost work, lost data, or anything that happens on a site you reached from here. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law, and disputes go to the courts of Belgium. If you use this site as a consumer somewhere else in the EU, this does not take away the protections your own country’s law gives you.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. With a question, message me on X.
